I’m happy to announce that Pawfit now supports adding a microchip number to each pet’s profile. This microchip number is available as a measurement, and is also shown right on the profile page.
In most developed countries, pets are microchipped at their first vet visit. Keeping track of a microchip number can prove invaluable in the event that a pet is lost or stolen. While most countries operate a microchip registry, having your own pet’s microchip number on hand may speed up the process of having your pet returned to you in the event that the registry is unavailable or has incomplete records.
If you are new to Pawfit, you can provide the microchip number when adding your pet. If you already have a pet profile on Pawfit, you can provide it by heading into the edit details screen for your pet(s).
